Redesigning NHL Instagram Post With Figma Auto Layout | Figma Tutorial for Beginners
I saw this really cool design on the NHL instagram page and I thought to myself, let’s try and design that using Figma auto layout.
This video is a great starting point as a Figma auto layout tutorial or just as a general Figma tutorial for beginners.
It has some cool design elements like blurred glass effect on the background with the crowd, the players popping out of their frames, and some cool iconography effects. I wanted to try and use auto layout to build this design.
The original design was build more like a UI design rather than a graphic design style post so I knew it was going to be a great exercise for auto layout in Figma.
